UNICOR Relationship Provides Streamlined Manufacturing for Maximum Efficiency

IX Energy is proud to have a 5-year manufacturing agreement with UNICOR. Assembling solar modules at the UNICOR plant in Otisville, NY (capacity 24 MW supply agreement), IX Energy is able to benefit from significant savings and efficiencies, which in turn are enjoyed by our customers.

Our robust teaming agreement is provides IX Energy with all the tools, resources and efficiencies needed to work directly with Federal and military contracts. Some of the benefits or our agreement are:

• High efficiency crystalline solar panels to all Federal agencies at GSA prices
• Logistics, engineering, packaging, a 20-year warranty and a Federal ID number
• Interest-free accounts receivable financing

As we grow and develop our relationship with UNICOR, we will see new and additional ways to work closely together. At present, we are evaluating the benefits of adding additional manufacturing facilities, such as UNICOR’s Electronics & Plastics group facilities, located nationwide. Discussions are currently underway regarding the expansion of solar module manufacturing into additional factories. It may be possible to expand UNICOR annual supply from 24MW in 2009 to 74MW by Q1 2010 and even further beyond solar modules to include additional technologies.

IX Energy enjoys a supply partnership with select international solar cell producers. Our strategic partnerships ensure reduced overhead, equipment and assembly costs.

Cost-Effective Installation

IX Energy out-sources all construction management, contracting and installation. This means all insurance, bonding and other liabilities are placed on sub-contractors.
